October Changes

Sometimes it is at the height of productivity that everything gets interrupted.  Even as an artist, getting going again can be a mighty effort when you’ve been travelling along at a great speed.  We moved house this month and so energy has been devoted to very different forms of creativity which haven’t left much time for picking up the paint brush.

I’m excited to have a new space to begin my creative process again, and love that it is filled with light and windows.

I’m declaring November a month where I focus on my nudes so be prepared to see a lot more of this subject matter over the next few weeks. This one was created earlier in the week and is hopefully a sign of things to come.

Until Next Time,

Australian Artist, painting with Gouache and Oil Pastel on Paper. Lover of lines, curves, colour and texture.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Australia, I've spent most of my adult life travelling, time living in Sweden and Adelaide and have settled in Brisbane with my little family.

I'm creative by nature and find inspiration in many different corners of this world, some just under my nose, others a life time away. I blog because I love to share what I discover, and to inspire myself.

You'll find my blogging about my paintings and artwork on:
and about my cooking adventures on sharingthefoodwelove.wordpress.com
