Starting To Think About Christmas

Don’t look now, but we’re half way through October and Christmas is just around the corner…eeek!  Whilst I love Christmas, I’m very traditional about it being a special season and think it should stay in December, but I know that isn’t always practical.

With postal deadlines and family and friends scattered all over the world its now that I know I need to start thinking about cards and gifts if I want things to get to people before February.  More than ever I think its important to send gifts that are thoughtful and unique, so I scour local markets, shops and Etsy looking for special things for people.

This year I’ve also started early making my own cards and gift tags and decided I would make a few more to release as special editions for people to buy.  They’re limited edition because I’m creating them from scratch, including cutting the card.

The beauty of these is that they look as good framed after they’ve been received so they make a special keepsake too.

I will be sharing a few more designs over the next week so make sure you follow my shop on Facebook or Instagram to find out when they will be released.

I will also be offering some gift sets with my art covered notebooks in coming weeks which are perfect for gifting to teachers, work colleagues, friends and teens.
