The Artist’s Library: Book club

As a self-taught artist, so much of my knowledge comes from reading. I love books and getting the opportunity to read about something I love like painting and creating is combining two of my favourite things.

In an effort to grow my knowledge I read not only non-fiction books about the practice of art skills, but also biographies and creative fiction stories that fuel the imagination.

Starting in March I will be sharing my thoughts on books that I’ve read and the lessons that I take away from them. The titles I’ll be sharing come from my personal library, from my local public library and from recomendations from other artists along the way.

I’d love to hear from you if you have a title you think I must add to my list or if you’d like to be a part of this book club and contribute a review.

I look forward to sharing my literary adventures with you.

Until Next Time,

Far From A Still Life by Meg Stewart
